KUALA LUMPUR, 23 October<\/b> \u2013 OPUS International (M) Berhad
\n(OPUS), a leading engineering and asset management consultancy, a subsidiary of
\nUEM Edgenta Berhad (UEM Edgenta) together with
\nHSS Engineering Sdn Bhd (HSSE), a prominent player in engineering and project
\nmanagement services, a wholly owned subsidiary of HSS Engineers Berhad (HEB);
\ntoday announced the signing of a Joint Venture and Shareholders\u2019 Agreement
\n(JVSA). This strategic partnership aims to accelerate expansion into
\nhigh-growth infrastructure markets across Southeast Asia (SEA) and the Middle
\nEast.<\/p>\n

This collaboration brings
\ntogether the combined expertise of OPUS and HSS Engineering to deliver comprehensive
\nsolutions across engineering and technical services, project management and
\nasset management consultancy and energy efficiency solutions in diverse
\ninfrastructure sectors. The joint venture will be 60% owned by OPUS and 40% by
\nHSSE. <\/p>\n

Sharing her thoughts on the

OPUS and HSSE plan to
\nformally establish the joint venture in 2024, with initial operations focusing
\non major asset management projects and energy efficiency initiatives. The
\nformation and operations of the joint venture are subject to necessary
\nregulatory approvals.<\/p>\n
